So, fetch your favourite costume and start planning your Halloween activities with these chilling ideas.
Shiverpool
Shiverpool runs all year long and is a must-see attraction for paranormal fanatics and history buffs. We cannot recommend any other way to prepare yourself for Halloween than with one of Shiverpool’s ghostly tours. Shiverpool delivers various tours with a theatrical element, helping to express Liverpool’s paranormal history interactively. The tours will take you through some of Liverpool’s most historic streets, including Hope Street, with famous ghost stories and spine-tingling history lessons.
Farmaggedon
The popular scare attraction is back to terrify visitors for another year! Farmaggedon is an annual haunted attraction at Farmer Teds Adventure Farm near Liverpool. This attraction is not for the faint-hearted! If you have the guts, you can embark on a journey through one of Farmageddon’s four scare houses. You will explore everything from a haunted mansion filled with demonic souls to a blood-pumping fairground. If you fancy a paintball experience, you can book tickets for Zombie Annihilation, allowing you and your fellow survivors to take out an army of the undead.
Quiz at Salt Dog Slims
The first two activities are pretty intense, so let’s calm down for a second. City restaurant Salt Dog Slims is known for hosting Halloween quizzes; this year is no different. Salt Dogs is hosting a quiz on Halloween night from 7.30 pm. If you win the quiz, you may collect spooktacular prizes like Farmageddon tickets and costumes. Make sure you dress up as a prize will be going to the best dressed! Organisers promise hilarious Halloween games like Jager bobbing and a ‘frightening mystery box of hell’.
Ottersghoul at Otterspool Adventure
The much-loved Otterspool Adventure is transforming its play centre again this year from the 22nd to the 31st of October. The annual event will include a Spooky Show featuring the famous sisters from Hocus Pocus. Visitors can explore the Hocus Pocus house to discover secrets, try their luck along the Tombstone Trail and watch a live production. Not to mention, there will also be a Pumpkin Party Parade!
Hocus Pocus Afternoon Tea at the Bentley
The Sanderson sisters also have enough time to show up at the stunning Bentley Liverpool venue along the city’s waterfront! The event venue runs a special afternoon tea occasion on Halloween night for £30 per person. Visitors will enjoy a traditional afternoon tea with a glass of prosecco while watching a fantastic performance.
Pumpkin Picking
Halloween isn’t complete without a bit of pumpkin picking! So, make sure you pop on your wellies and head to one of Liverpool’s nearby pumpkin patches with the kids to hand-select your own pumpkin. Then, head back home and carve it however you want!
